There is so much on Medium I don’t understand and I’m sure I never will.
I’m not some tech ‘guru’. I’m not some big writer that knows what the hell she’s even doing, I just get creative with words sometimes and I like to make shit rhyme, that’s it.
My vocabulary sucks, I’m always trying to use bigger & better words. I’m more street smart than I am book smart.
Many times I feel like I don’t belong amongst all you brilliant writers and ‘gurus’. So many of you actually write for a living. Not this one, I just write for a hobby and sometimes get an audience.
The War
I’m learning quick to stay in my own lane on here. There’s a war going on out there on Medium turf. People want me to choose sides.
This fight between the ‘metas’ and non- ‘metas’. I’m not gonna lie, I had to look the word up. What the fuck is a ‘meta’ article?
Do I write ‘meta’ articles? Umm… I need to know because apparently we only have until March 1st to get them outta here.
I’ve been suspended before and I hated it. I hate rejection. I’m not a rule breaker. Not really. I’m a decent person in life that tries to follow rules and be nice, so it hurt my feelings to be rejected by Medium for those 2 weeks. So I’m not trying to go through that again all because of some ‘meta’ article I may have written and don’t even realize.
Thank God for Google!
